B-17G Flying Fortress, aka B-17P(DB), 483559 or 44-83559, Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum, 11/17/18

If you lived in a major German city during World War II, this was about the last thing you wanted to see flying overhead.

The B-17 was one of the big reasons why the Nazis were bombed nearly into the Stone Age through the USAAF's and RAF's strategic bombing. You also didn't want to be a Luftwaffe fighter pilot bearing down on this beast with all its machine guns pointing at you. This is a beautifully restored aircraft in aluminum livery.
